But the process can be broken down into these four simple guidelines.

1. Scope of digitization

One of the biggest misconceptions regarding the digital transformation of a business is in the actual scope of the work that needs to be undertaken. This isn’t only about improving efficiencies in one or two areas of the business. Nor is it simply focusing on improving the business from a single viewpoint — such as customer experiences.
